This project was for a company, Advanced Collision and Dent, to create their logo.

The logo design process involved brainstorming and sketching multiple concepts. I explored various visual elements, such as cars and tools to represent the auto hail repair industry. The first concept of the design features a black car with the text “Advanced Collision and Dent” positioned underneath it. This initial concept serves as a reference and the result of the logo design.

The client wanted the logo to be red, so after incorporating different shades of red I added the shade of red to the logo. The car and text are now covered in red, with a gradient effect that transitions from a lighter shade to a darker shade of red. Selecting the right typography was essential in conveying professionalism and brand personality. I explored different font styles that balanced legibility and visual appeal. The chosen typography was Copperplate to complement the visual elements and reflect the brand’s tone. I carefully selected colors that aligned with Advanced Collision and Dent’s brand identity and the desired response. After consideration of the color, we thought it would be best to have a secondary color. So I added the color yellow to the car to help enhance the visual impact of the logo.

Creating a logo with a clean and simple design ensured its clarity and longevity. A simple logo is more versatile and can be easily recognized and remembered by the target audience. Throughout the design process, feedback from the client played a crucial role. I incorporated their input into the design, iterated on concepts, and refined the logo to meet the client’s vision and objectives.
